Carrying the tradition of performing arts from generation to generation is the primary goal of the Theatre of the Performing Arts. Aside from putting on various stage productions, the theater also makes education another high priority, as students, members of various civic organizations, and other clubs all take part in programs that foster a continued interest in taking center stage.
How about keeping everyone rolling through a fun afternoon? The best way to make sure everyone in your family will do that is to have them lace up a pair of skates and experience the rink at the Hot Wheels Skating Palace Roller Skating Rink. Whether you have family members just starting out on skates or the kids are already pros, you'll find the rink's fun, family atmosphere will make skating around a comfortable, stress-free experience you'll return to again and again.
Artbreak takes place every April and May. Students from Bossier and Caddo Parish take part in several hands-on art projects and also serve as judges for the various pieces that are completed. This festival is a weekend of dance, music, theater, food, fun and even a 5K race.
